12/9/17- This year Downtown Norman will host a SECOND artwalk, giving you extra shopping time with your favorite local makers! (Our Arts Council is kinda awesome guys!) Let us fill your cup with warm, homemade hot chocolate for you to sip as you peruse a gallery full of over 12 local pop up shops with everything from local art pieces to handmade jewelry, gloves, oils, giftcards for art, tattoos and more! Be here for the Christmas Parade at 5pm! PLUS, we will be giving away a gift card worth $60!! We will post more about the vendors and events happening this day as we finalize our plans! 12/8/17- Tammy Conover is a local artist gaining national attention for her soul work. She works hand in hand with each person to create a meaningful and positive experience wherin they learn about themselves and walk away with a one of a kind experience and painting. She has been featured on Buzzfeed, as well as, honoring Ed Harris with a personal piece in collaboration with the Women’s Resource Center. This will be a great opportunity to meet her, watch her do a live painting, and pick up a gift card for a loved one or yourself! Join us Friday, December 8th from 6-9p as we watch her in action! Well, here we are again friends! Where do we even begin?! Starting today, 5/4, we are running a 2/$50 piercing special with FREE entry to win tickets to Biting the Apple 2017 at IAO!!! Drawing to be held Friday 5/12 at 930pm! (Some restrictions apply. Two piercings per person.) We are also presenting a Creature Feature art show with brand new animal themed pieces by Natalie Schultz! Doris Patterson will be transporting us with scenes from Italy to Hawaii to India in the hallway. PLUS, music by 7 local artists out front and 2 more out back! Urban Alley will be picking up with Mini Mural Fest featuring Haley Bell and Derrick Adams and 2 more live musicians! So put your party pants on and come show some love to your local artists and musicians!
